Slechtvalk is a Dutch black/dark metal band with some folk influences. The name comes from a bird of prey, a falcon. They use a lot of melody and keyboard in their music. The lyrics are mostly in English, but they have one song in Latin, one in Dutch and a cover from Antestor, in Norsk. The band started out as a one-man project, but it grew and now the members of the band are Shamgar, Ohtar, Nath, Grimbold, Hydrith and Meallá.
